There are new single-family home opportunities by two award-winning builders in northwest Calgary’s established Tuscany community.
Pre-construction sales have opened for Tesoro in Tuscany. This is being developed as a new enclave within the existing community of Tuscany. It is the debut single-family home development by Avi Land, which is part of Homes by Avi Group of Companies.
Tesoro has 128 lots and a starting price on homes of around $600,000 including lots and tax. Its builders are Homes by Avi and Albi Homes.
“When you stand on the land, the views to the west are amazing,” Naum Shteinbah, vice-president of Homes by Avi Canada and Avi Land Corp. “A lot of people who moved into Tuscany earlier when it was just developing, they’ve outgrown their homes and are looking to move up and that’s a product that our builders will be providing.”
Homes by Avi has 93 lots, and 35 belong to Albi. The majority will be 32 to 38 feet wide with a few pie-shaped lots in the mix, as well.
Deep underground utilities will be completed this spring and interior road paving is scheduled to start in July, Shteinbah says.
On-site sales centre for both builders will likely open this June. Until then, buyers are encouraged to contact the builders through their respective websites, homesbyavi.com and albihomes.com
“Demand has been, as we thought because we had a lot of registrations, very strong because of its location,” says Homes by Avi sales manager Karl Bursnell.
Albi’s director of business management Jason Mauro agrees, the location is a prize.
“Tuscany is an established community with all the amenities you could ask for,” says Mauro. “There are lots of walking paths that connect the community, which helps residents to get out into nature without leaving their neighbourhood. The Tuscany Club is a private residents club that features a large gym, bookable rooms, play area and splash park. There are numerous schools in the area, an LRT station, bus routes, restaurants, groceries, coffee shops and more.
“It truly is a complete community for all stages of life.”
Homes by Avi’s models in Tuscany are all of the front-drive garage variety. They range from the 1,733-square-foot Bueller floor plan to the Yorkshire at 2,602 square feet.
Albi, meanwhile, steps in with two segments.
“Our presale product will be single family, front-drive garage homes, with a model line-up very similar to what is available in Symons Gate,” says Mauro. Albi opened a sales centre in Symons Gate, which is another community in northwest Calgary, last month. “There are also 10 quick possession homes that we are building. These will be laned homes, built along an established street and ready for move-in in December.”
Mauro says Albi’s models will range from just larger than 2,000 square feet to just less than 2,500 square feet.
