I am excited for this HUGE master planed development in Inglewood. I drove by yesterday and it looks ot be coming along very well. In total 694 units plus retail space. All set to complete by late 2014.
If you’re a Calgary home hunter you already know plenty about SoBow‘s Inglewood community, the most historic and eclectic neighbourhood in the city. So today, we’d like to highlight what the master-planned community’s newest residential building, 1912Cross, will offer residents from the inside.
1912Cross is a mix of 120 condos and two-storey townhomes with 13 versatile floorplans to choose from.
Being constructed with concrete, the building will boast a modern loft aesthetic with plenty of brick, metal and glass. Its interior spaces are open, light and airy, with nine-foot ceilings and expansive windows that capture the impressive views of the Bow River, adjacent park and landscaped courtyard.
The large gourment kitchens at SoBow will be either linear spaces with 10-foot islands or L-shaped with five-foot islands. Regardless of the layout, every 1912Cross kitchen will feature Cantrio Koncept sinks with industrial-style pullout faucets, full-sized stainless steel appliances and a gas range stone.
Accents like wide-plank wooden floors, exposed concrete columns and industrial-style sliding slab complete the loft-feel at 1912Cross.
All 1912Cross condos also boast porcelain tile in the bathrooms and in the laundry rooms (which are equipped with Samsung stacking washers and dryers).
When all the buildings at SoBow are completed, the development will consist of 694 residential units, with a retail street front along 17A Street SE. Occupancy is scheduled for late 2014.
