#TakeOver: 56 Country Hills Grove NW, Calgary, AB

This House was surprisingly on the market for 131 days with another Real Estate company before the seller called us. We couldn't figure out why it hadn't sold, it had everything; prime NW location, walkout basement, front attached and rear detached double garages, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms...it didn't make any sense.

We met with the owner, looked at the house and made the following plan:

  1. *We 're-staged' the house using the seller's own furniture and belongings (no cost to the seller)
  2. *We had our photographer come in to showcase the home in it's best light ( no cost to the seller)
  3. *We adjusted the asking price by only $2000 to $393,000 
We had 28 private showings in the first week of hitting the market and within 8 days had a condition offer, firm in 16 days. The crazy thing (to me at least) is we don't charge a higher rate then the last agent that had the house listed but we go the extra mile for our clients
